VetPapers is a personal research tool maintained by Reece Gardner. It searches PubMed for papers from selected veterinary journals, adds new references to a designated Google Sheet, and sends a weekly digest to the authorised Google account.
How it works
- Search selected journals for newly indexed papers.
- Add references and PubMed links to the reading list while preserving existing review notes.
- Email a digest to the account that authorised the tool.
Google account access
The configured application requests permission to read and update Google Sheets, identify the signed-in account’s email address, and send email through Gmail. It does not request permission to read your Gmail messages. Authorisation takes place through Google; VetPapers does not ask for your Google password.
This website provides information about the tool. It does not provide a public sign-up service or initiate Google authorisation. The application runs separately on its operator’s configured computer or server.

VetPapers supports veterinary surgical study and literature review. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by ECVS, Google, PubMed or the indexed publishers. Journal coverage and examination eligibility should be checked against the relevant official reading requirements.
